Silva Daskalaki Winery

The winery Silva Daskalakis is  located in Siva, a small village, just 17 km from Heraklion in the wine region of Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) "DAFNES".

The winery was established in 2003 and every year is equiped with latest technology machines for the production and bottling of wines. The owner Mrs Irene Daskalakis has 7 hectares owned vineyards cultivated with integrated organic farming.   The richness and distinctiveness of the Silva wines is due to the unique region.

The varieties that Silva winery is using  are Cretan indigenous like Liatiko, Kotsifali, Thrapsathiri, Malvasia, Vidiano and Muscat of Spina. It also uses international varieties  as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillion.
Many of Silva wines have won awards in national and international wine  competitions.
"Liastos" is the brand name of the wine of classification "DAFNES PDO".
